After leaving Wallace, we were once again western ho and our first stop was the Old Sacred Heart Mission, build in 1850 and the oldest building in Idaho. The Coeur d'Alene Indians invited the Jesuit priest Father Peter John de Smet, and the Indians began building this mission.
