We won't talk about the "what if," i.e., what if we had just gone from Oklahoma City to Santa Fe. Instead, we'll recount today's route from Hobbs, New Mexico, to Santa Fe. The morning started out to be dreary, but soon the sky opened up to billowy clouds and wispy slivers.
