Okay, so today all we did was drive from point A to point B, i.e., from Oklahoma City to Hobbs, New Mexico. But we stopped often to take pictures, along with the usual pit stops. We left at shortly after nine and arrive at about five, aka four o'clock Mountain Time. Sad to say, it didn't dawn on us that we were going to hit Carlsbad Caverns on Memorial Day weekend. As a result, when we called to make reservations for a cavern tour, they were all booked. So tomorrow we will be following plan B--as soon as we work out plan B.
