Inside the Cave

I had though I had turned the flash off on my camera, something required of those going into the caves.  Unfortunately, I had not, so I was scolded when I took this shot.  I did not want to risk a second mishap, so I didn't take any more pictures while we were down there.  The tours here are much different from those at Howe's Caverns and Luray's Caverns.  You have to be willing to exert some physical effort, duck a lot and squeeze through small openings.  We were lucky because there were only eight people on our tour and the tour guide was comical.  We learned much about how these caves were formed and developed over millions of year.  There was even one place where a spout of water was pouring out of the "ceiling."
