Locusts

Although we spent the majority of our time at the art museum looking at an extensive exhibit about the portrayal of women during the French Enlightenment and checked our the Crocker Mansion, this installation, "The Cycle" by California artist Cyrus Tilton, was fascinating.  It was a series of works using locusts as a metaphor of over-population and the impact it has on the environment.  This second sculpture was animated.
