After the ladies got back, Dan, Ted and I went out exploring. I had been reading about the Pocosin Wilderness Area of the Croatan National Forest, but our exploration led to the end of several dead end roads in the forest without finding much. We did find this Yellow Bellied Slider trying to cross the road.
