The "Loop"

We drove a total of 2400 miles.

On Our Way Home

I was surrounded by retired English teachers: one from near the Canadian border above Plattsburg and one who taught at NVMS, featured above.  I did mess up a bit on the drive home but we arrived safely nonetheless.

Sunday, Day Fifteen

The trip home was far less eventful than the flight to California two weeks earlier.  We packed up, dropped the car off, took the tram to the designated terminal and boarded the plane right on schedule.  Oh, there was one issue.  I must have dropped my boarding pass when we were going through security, but I just walked back--okay, I hurried back in a bit of a panic--and found it on top of some equipment at the end of the security line.  I just picked it up and held it up to the guard and said, "This is mine."
